11-19-2007 6:57 AM -- By: Amber, Critters.com memorial: Nvwati Memorial Jeannie I admire you for being able to do the things you used to do with your sweet Gypsy Rose. When I read your post I had this image of your baby looking down on you from above and giving her approval. Something tells me Gypsy Rose is making sure Mollie has some of her traits to help you through this sad time. Yesterday I was out at the park with Mkwaa and Yukon Jack and as they ran through the leaves on the ground and I heard that familiar crunch crunch of the beautiful leaves beneath their paws I remembered that sound from Nvwati as he ran through the leaves......... something so many dogs love doing. Yukon suddenly stopped turned and looked at me and I swear he smiled at me! I stopped and looked above and said "Thank you my precious Nvwati for bringing Yukon to us and for being here with us in spirit today." Im sure others around me thought I was nuts but ask if care? LOL. Bless you too Jeannie for your entries to Nvwatis guestbook. They are so appreciated. Hugs Amber
11-19-2007 6:50 AM -- By: Amber, Critters.com memorial: Nvwati Memorial Cheri thank you for the kind entry into Nvwati's guestbook. All of us gathered here were brought to this site over the deaths of our beloved furbabies and we so know the pain you feel. We share your pain. I was so devestated when my baby died it felt like my heart would explode. A dear friend of mine sent me email telling me to let her and others help carry my pain so I didn't have to carry it all alone. Ironically that email helped me so KNOW that we carry a part of your pain as well. You can contact me off forum via email anytime you need support. Take care hon.

She could never replace the special bond Wor Noops and i shared, but will bring her own love and memories. I love you Noops x
11-19-2007 1:09 AM -- By: Jeannie, Critters.com memorial: Gypsy Rose Memorial Amber, I signed Nvwati guest book....twice. The first time it didn't go through so I wrote again. You and Nvwati are certainly worth every word. Thank you.
11-19-2007 12:54 AM -- By: Jeannie, Critters.com memorial: Gypsy Rose Memorial We finally made the journey to the cabin with Mollie. It was very difficult, I spent the day before crying-all I could picture is my beautiful Gypsy Rose on the bed sleeping, like she always did. I wanted Mollie to have fun at the cabin like Gypsy Rose did. It seems that Mollie has some of the same traits as Gypsy Rose-she seemed to know that we were close to something when we arrived. She was very excited. I let her know this was Gyspy Roses' favorite place to go, she seemed to know this was a special place. I cried when I arrived, just thinking of the last time we were there with Gypsy Rose 7/6/07 for 2 weeks. We did enjoy our time, although it rained-we went for many walks, and she cozied up by the wood stove. This will always be Gypsy Roses' special place, we can now make new memories with Mollie. Thank you Gypsy Rose for guiding the way for Mollie and for making her feel welcomed in your special place. I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU GYPSY ROSE, I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU. I will never forget our precious memories and the unconditional love you gave me. Love, Mommy.
11-18-2007 5:52 PM -- By: Cheri Pittman, Pet's name: Coco Thanks to those who have so far signed the guestbook on CocoMemorial. It helps to know that so many people are seeing her face. The words of comfort also help. The pain is fresh, but it helps to know that I do not suffer alone. Thanks to everyone. My prayers are with all who are suffering the same pain.
11-18-2007 3:46 PM -- By: Amber, Critters.com memorial: Nvwati Memorial Everyone if you can check out Nvwati's website today. I added some native music to his site, appropriate I think, under the circumstances lol. The musicians are myself and Kathy who drums with Manitou Kwe Singers along with me. Let me know what you all think.
11-18-2007 11:35 AM -- By: Cheri, Pet's name: Coco Amber, thank you so much for your words of comfort. I also visited Nvwati's memorial. He was beautiful. I, like you, had originally attempted to get Coco adopted. She captured my heart and she stayed with me for 14 years. I'm so thankful that I kept her.
11-18-2007 11:08 AM -- By: Amber, Critters.com memorial: Nvwati Memorial Cheri Please accept my deepest condolences. You found the right place to get support. I am going to visit Coco's Memorial now.
11-18-2007 10:34 AM -- By: Cheri Pittman, Pet's name: Coco I have been in the most indescribable grief since losing my baby on Thursday. This web site and the opportunity to create a memorial to her has helped me so much. I hope everyone gets to see her sweet face. I want everybody to know that this precious little girl existed in this world and brought such happiness to my life. She helped me overcome the darkest days and there were many in recent years. Her strength was beyond measure, and, right now, so is the pain that I feel.
11-18-2007 9:51 AM -- By: Amber, Critters.com memorial: Nvwati Memorial I would like to say thank you to all who have sent me supporting and comforting emails over the past few days. Bless you!

11-15-2007 11:41 PM -- By: Carole Turner, Pet's name: Thank you Sharon and Marc for the new Birthday page. How compassionate of you to honor the request to add it! Thank you also for everything you do, in keeping this site alive and so well maintained.
I have a personal suggestion for "all" Critters website members, which is truly meant to be taken very kindly. The Birthday Page was created "as a reminder page only" of a loved ones birth date. In respect to our precious companions, it would make it easier to spot a birthday rather than have to search through remarks and emails. I would regret missing a birthday that could very possibly be overlooked and hidden in an array of what should actually be either emails or posts left on individual tributes. If used correctly, we should be able to simply go to the birthday page, and see the pets name and birthday. After we read the birthday reminder, kindly go directly to the pet's tribute that is being remembered and pay respect or leave a comment there. It is also so much more personal that way. Please also remember that not everyone feels the same way, after losing their loved ones...a birth-date might be a very sad time for them. Each person has a different personality, beliefs, and a different path of through the grieving and healing process.
I (and I am sure many others) are very sensitive to "everything about this website". I am also trying to respectfully lead, in portraying utmost respect and appreciation (at all times), to the Critters team who allow us a place where we can gather, to seek friendly support and/or share the most precious memories of our angels. Also, showing respect and honor to the "pets who are no longer with us" and the grieving owners is the purpose we have all joined here. It is a very fragile time when we have to say good-bye to our companions. I sincerely hope that you are able to join me in maintaining a mature and respectful dialog while conversing on this wonderful site. Let's please keep this a friendly place to gather, and remember that our kindness is what will help others heal. The least display of disrespect to "anyone" is also showing disrespect to the precious pets that are no longer with us, and the very people who make Critters possible. Thank you very much.

11-14-2007 9:01 PM -- By: Richard, Critters.com memorial: Dollie Memorial I, for one, and I believe that I can speak for many here at Critters, sincerely thank the person or persons that come up with the birthday parties, talent shows, etc... What a genuine act of humor, imagination, compassion, and caring. They are to be commended for what, I'm sure, takes lots and lots of time and concentration. I'm sure that the sacrifice of time and energy that they put into each and every story and guestbook entry is very rewarding for them. I believe that they've been Extremely careful to include each and every little boy and girl that's parents want to participate. What we need to realize is that some are not like us. All of us grieve in different ways and to different extents and some parents simply don't want their pet's to be remembered in a humorous way. We should all respect their wishes and I think that they have been.
Again, I want to thank the person (or persons) that loves the ones of us that do find immense satisfaction, joy and comfort in the antics of our little children..;)
So, to whom it may it may concern: THANK YOU. AND DON'T CHANGE A THING..;)
