Jodi, I am so sorry for your sister's loss and this memorial just brought me to tears! I've been wondering what I was going to put on my Dale's first Angel Day page and I found it on Jazzy's page - the poem "A Letter from Your Horse in Heaven" . . . it is so lovely and moving . . . I hope you don't mind! Your love for this stunning angel just shines - please know you and yours are in my thoughts as you continue to carry Jazzy in your heart -

She is still very loved and missed by not only me but her her pasture buddies as well. Today marks 2 yrs since we went on our last ride- it was a Sunday and we headed out for a trail ride because it was such a nice day. The pain is always with me and a peice of my heart I will never get back as she took it with her when she left. Jazz you will always be loved from here to beyond and I dream of seeing you again when that glorious trumpet sounds.......I promise Ill be ready so keep that beautiful head up because as our time together on earth seemed so short our time together in Heaven will last forever. 04-12-2009 11:55 PM -- By: jayme, From: grand rapids mn hey kelly just want to say that i miss and love you and jazzy and i hope to see you sometime soon. i am praying and thinking about you and jazzy all the time and i still picture you and jazzy at the fair when you two where just having fun and you guys where sharing that speacial bond you two had. you two told each other things and you could trust each other with everything that you told each other. i still thank you for letting me to do " ride a buck" at the fair that really ment alot to me so i remeber a good time we had together and letting me take up your time that you could have been spending with her and i will always thank you and look up to you for that reason you dont only think about yourself you think about others also and that will make a big difference in the world someday and i just want to say thank you again and i am going to go to bed good night love ande miss you all

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
