Jacob always on top of something
In loving memory of our Jacob who we loved so much. Jacob will be greatly missed and be in our hearts forever.
Jacob passed away last evening. His little body could not fight off the cancer inside. He tried to hold on, but in the end, it was all he could do to lift his head and purr. He was very much loved and shared his life with many other fursiblings during the years he blessed us. He managed to out live Hannah, Snick, Rosie, Buff, Red Baron, Rebecca and Ezekiel. He always held his own even though he was smaller than all the rest. He had a mind of his own and a heart of gold. He loved kisses and loved to nudge up against our foreheads to show how much he loved us. He put up with a great deal of harrassment from the new furbabies that came to live with us after Ezekiel passed away. He especially loved the new pomeranians (Jedidiah and Abigail) because they were about his size. At first, he didn't know what to think about them. As days passed, he learned to tolerate them and even take naps with them. Then came along the Goldens, Micah and Chloe! He thought he was in a circus! He went from a semi-quiet environment to major "puppyhood". Micah and Chloe were relentless! They never gave Jacob a moment of silence or rest! They just wanted to play....play....play.... and more play! Even though they were full of energy, Jacob still tolerated them. He enjoyed jumping over their dog gates and then standing in front of the gate as if to say," How you like me now?" Jacob lived a long life and gave to us unconditional love, companionship, comfort, friendship, knowledge and patience. Jacob, you will never be forgotten and you will always be in my heart. I love you Jacob.........Love Mommy
