This memorial is a tribute to Benji who is deeply missed and loved. He was a Virginia Opossum who was found on a four-lane highway in Knoxville when he was very young. He was taken to a wildllife rehabilitator, who took him to UT vet school. They discovered that he was both deaf and blind, therefore not releasable. He was a precious little soul who never once offered to bite anyone. He was in many education programs about wildlife. He had a wonderful life, and he lived to be old for an opossum.
