In loving memory of our Coach who we love so much. Coach will be greatly missed and be in our hearts forever.
Kevin, Blaine & Coach at Rainbow Bridge Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when Coach suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, Kevin & Blaine, and when you and your special friend, Coach, finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress his beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of Coach, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then Kevin, Blaine and Coach cross Rainbow Bridge together...
Some Memories The way your tail could hit anything and still keep going no matter how painful it sounded. After all the years of you laying with your head under the coffee table, but yet you would still pop your head up and bonk your head! How you looked forward to your morning treat! The time you got into the suitcase and ate all my saltwater taffy, but left me all the paper wrappers! The time you went into the pond in and turned green from the algae. The fact that you truly were a good boy. You never destroyed things, weren’t a barker, and were always so happy to see us, and gave us your unconditional love and acceptance.
Kevin's Memories of Coach: -------------------------- Your big brown eyes that always let me know what you wanted. The time mom tried to fool me by adding a new spot with a black marker. I noticed right away. The way you refused to play catch. You would maybe go get the ball once, but would refuse if I threw it again. The way you would look so intently when the treats came out. You would get that crease down the top of your head. How you always managed to step on my toes when you walked by. How I could scratch you under the chin and make you yawn. How you used to always look into mirrors. I used to think you were looking at yourself, but then I realised you were really using the mirror to watch me. But most of all, your unconditional love. Even if I was having a bad day, you didn't care. I was still the center of your universe.
