In loving memory of our sadie who we love so much. Sadie will be greatly missed and be in our hearts forever.
We rescued Sadie from the shelter when she was 8 weeks old. I found out she was born on the same day I was born, this made her very special to me. She help me through some tough times and was with me on many happy times.
She was always the queen of the house, let everyone know who was boss. She loved to open presents at Christmas, she didn't care who they were for she would open it. She shared a Thanksgiving turkey one year with Ginger our golden retriever and her companion for 15 years. We Could not get mad at her all we could do was laugh about it.
She was ready for a ride in the truck or go for a walk anytime.
I had her for over 18 years and was not ready to let her go when I knew she was ready. I took her to the vet March 3rd knowing it was the last time i would be with her. I held her for her last breath, she licked my nose then my chin to say "good bye" .She was gone quickly and peacefully.
The sun still shines, life goes on and I miss her. She was my Sadie.
I will see her again when we cross the "Rainbow Bridge"
My goal in life is to be as good of a person that my dog already thinks I am.
