Come Play With Me

In loving memory of  Sparky who is missed so much. Sparky will be greatly missed and be in our hearts forever.

Losing this boy was so sudden. He remains in the heart....he keeps the memories flowing. There is no replacement....he was unique in his temperament, his intelligence, and his unconditional love.

He was such a sweet soul. "Play with me" or "touch me" were pretty much his main requests. There are few words..though I have pages of memories..I wrote things down so I would not miss any of the favorite things.....he was smart., loving, trusting. Losing him breaks the heart. He was too young to go.

I see you....

This baby has been in the next world for a short time...but missed so much since his passing.

He played "ball" with racquetballs...they bounced in fun ways....and were so unpredictable...in the long run of play this dog was so "fair" that if another joined the game...they were included immediately. He could not bear leaving someone out.....how could you not love that about him.

One of his favorite things was being touched or rubbed...after a snow...coming in from the rain....dry him off...."rubber dog". He'd sit and wait if I did not offer this when he came in...funny and sweet.....and another aspect of being a "love sponge".

He also loved squeaky toys...with or without fur.....he liked to make them do their noise thing....it was fun to watch and the sound of his toys is missed.

He bounced on the fence for attention...but was given none unless he sat quietly....and he did.....neighbors and friends...they all liked him for his disposition and his capacity to live and love.

Another favorite was sitting on the swing with someone. He needed a partner to sit there, because he was afraid to get down by himself. Very cute.

Snow Dog

He loved catching snow as tossed off the end of the shovel...he ran the same path in the yard...consistently.....hw loved watching the world....and told the world how happy he was to be there.

I have pages and pages of memories...and that is good. Talk about stuff to put in a scrapbook...which is what is happening.....but I would so much rather he was here and making more memories with me...

Baby, you have no idea how much you are missed. A breath away......I was there for your last breath on earth....such a special boy.....you may keep my heart....it is yours.

Such a regal look.....

There are no limits to the love.

You never knew how regal you were....your attitude was always happy, even up to the last.

You were a "smiler"....you had a grin that showed your enjoyment....walks, playing, food, going for a ride in the truck....it did not matter why, you grinned....I think you knew something no one else did...your personal secret to life and happiness.

Your peace and presence were a centering force....people could feel it and share in what you gave.

Thank you Sparky, for being.

My Smiling Angel

God's Garden

God looked around His garden And He found an empty place He then looked down upon the earth And saw your precious face

He put His arms around you And lifted you to rest; God' s Garden must be beautiful He always takes the best.

He knew that you were suffering He knew you were in pain He knew you' d never ever Get well on earth again.

So He closed your weary eyelids And whispered " Peace be thine " Then He took you up to Heaven With Hands so gentle and kind.

It broke my heart to lose you But you did not go alone, For part of me went with you The day God welcomed you home.
