Kai going for a walk
In loving memory of our Kai who we love so much. Kai will be greatly missed and be in our hearts forever.
I chose Kai as a birthday present on October 1997. We went to upstate New York to our chow chow breeder and here was this georgeous and shy puppy with the biggest paws I had ever seen! He was adorable. I took him home and he took to toilet training without a hitch and without a crate. He hated it! He was soo smart and so stubborn at the same time. I guess he was right, there was no need for a crate, and never had an accident.
My 11 years with Kai was like being with an angel everyday. He loved hugs and going to the park. In fact, for the longest time, the only time he would relieve himself was when I took him to the park! He refused to walk around the block. . I had to drive to the park 3-4 times a day so he can do his business behind the bushes and trees. Oh, and those squirrels! I wish he could have gotten just one of those critters!
Kai was rarely sick so his passing was unexpected. I wish I had an inkling, because I would have liked to give him one last bear hug, one last touch, a final goodbye perhaps. Kai passed away less than a week ago and I miss him so much. He was the first one at the door to greet me everyday. I miss his smile and his huge purple tongue. I miss my angel.
Kai. . I hope you are chasing kittens and squirrels everyday wherever you are. We miss you.
