My Puff Puff

My constant companion for 15+ years
When I was thinking of the one word that describes you I thought of CONSTANT
CONSTANT – not changing or varying; continuing without pause or letup; unceasing; faithful; unswerving in love, devotion; resolute – something that does not or cannot change or vary.

This describes your faithful love and friendship. We have been thru a lot together this past 15 years and you were always with me every step of the way; It did not matter what was going on in my life I always knew you were waiting on me when I came home.This 15+ relationship with you  is a first for me since I never have had an campanion for as long as I  have had you. I count my blessings on having this beautiful creature with such a personality in  my life. I can’t believe your gone; I wanted to say to you many times dear friend, “I know you have to go I just wish you did not have to”. This house will never be the same and our lives will never be without you. No one can or will ever fill your shoes. No one will be Queen of my household again. Once in a lifetime is enough! When I think back on our times together I smile because I know you know how much you were loved, I told you everyday, I served you breakfast in bed, cooked salmon, chicken etc and brushed you and even let you sit on my 4 wheeler; you know you could do just about anything you wanted to and you did. You were the only cat that I know of that would come in the house to go to the bathroom.

Thank you dear friend for all your love and devotion but most of all teaching me along the way that we are shaped and fashioned by what we love.
I love you Puff Puff so run wild and be a kitten again.
Love knows not its own
depth until the hour of separation.

Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.
Anatole France

A morning kiss, a discreet
touch of her nose landing
somewhere on the middle
of my face, because her
long white whiskers
tickled, I began everyday

These intelligent, peace-loving, four-footed friends –
who are without prejudice,
without hate,
without greed –
may someday teach us something.
When you rise in the morning
form a resolution to make
the day a happy one
for a fellow creature
I love my cats because I
enjoy my home, and little
by little, they become
it’s invisible soul
Love is a language that the
blind can see and the
deaf can hear
