In loving memory of our Chi Chi whom we love so very much. Chi Chi will be greatly missed and be in our hearts forever.  Chi Man was the most loving dog anyone could ever ask for.  When our Grandmother was dying of cancer, he would lay with her all day.  When she went into a coma we couldn't believe it when she reached her hand out and started petting him.  He has been an angel to our family and to friends throughout his entire life.  He never had a mean bone in his body and he loved everyone and everything he ever met.  From the day he came into our lives, he has truly been a blessing to us all.  We will always remember him and his gentle soul.

Little Chi Man, we love you so so much.  I'm so sad that you've left us but I know that you are truly happy again in Heaven.  I want you to say hi to Sheeka and Phoebe for us, and give them lots of kisses :)  You were such a good boy always and we'll never forget how amazing your soul is.
Part of me wants you to stay in Heaven forever and always be happy and playing, but I also think if you come back to earth one day, whatever family you join will get to know the beauty of your soul, and their lives will be blessed just like ours have been.

Part of what made you so amazing, Little Man, was that you would greet anyone like you'd known them your whole life.  We were always so proud to take you out with us because you were so loving to every person and animal you met.  If someone was scared of dogs we knew that you would be the perfect one for them to meet because you were pure love.  I was always just so proud to have you by my side and to say that you were mine.  I love you so so much and I'll never forget my little boddhisatva :)

There is a bridge connecting heaven and Earth. It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors.

Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge is a land of meadows, hills and valleys, all of it covered with lush green grass. When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this lovely land. There is always food and water and warm spring weather. There, the old and frail animals are young again. Those who are maimed are made whole once more. They play all day with each other, content and comfortable.

There is only one thing missing. They are not with the special person who loved them on Earth.

So each day they run and play until the day comes when one suddenly stops playing and looks up! Then the nose twitches! The ears are up! The eyes are staring! You have been seen, and that one suddenly runs from the group! You take him or her in your arms and embrace. Your face is kissed again and again and again, and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting pet.

Then together, you cross the Rainbow Bridge, never again to be separated.

If it should be that I grow frail and weak,

And pain should keep me from my sleep,

Then will you do what must be done,

For this -- the last battle -- can't be won.

You will be sad, I understand,

But don't let grief then stay your hand.

For on this day more than the rest,

Your love and friendship must stand the test.

We have had so many happy years,

You wouldn't want me to suffer so.

When the time comes...please...let me go.

Take me to where to my needs they will tend,

Only, stay with me to the end...

And hold me firm and speak to me

Until my eyes no longer see.

I know in time you will agree

It is a kindness you do to me.

Although my tail its last has waved,

From pain and suffering I have been saved.

Don't grieve that it must be you

Who has to decide this thing to do;

We've been so close -- we two -- these years,

Don't let your heart hold any tears.
