March 9 1994 - July 5 2011

We lost our baby Miss Harley Davidson Phillips "Boogie" on Tuesday July5th, 2011 at 5:30pm.

She was born on March 9th, 1994 to Holly Shoaf.  Our beautiful black and white Shih tzus's daddy was named Yogi.  She had 2 brothers and 1 sister.  She was loved so much and had no clue that she was a dog. She was hand-fed and so many people loved her.  For 17 years and 4 monthsour world revolved around her.  She had a brother, Kitty Kitty, who died a few years ago and now she leaves behind another kitty named Floppy P.

She had been sick a lot lately, but we didn't know she would leave us so soon and so fast!  We didn't want her to be in pain, but what are we going to do without her.  Its so hard and hurts so bad - what are we going to do?  Its like you just want to die to be with her.  Some people wouldn't understand, but she was the only baby we had together.

Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers.  Please keep us in your prayers!  - Dale & Sharon

Harley and Floppy P.

IT IT SHOULD BE

(A poem sent to Dale & Sharon from Jessica Shropshire)

If it be I grow frail and weak

And pain should wake me from my sleep,

Then you must do what must be done,

For this last battle can't be won,

You will be sad, I understand,

Don't let your grief then stay your hand,

For this day more than the rest,

Your love and friendship stands the test.

We've had so many happy years,

What is to come and hold no fears,

You'll not want me to suffer, so,

When the time comes, please let me go,

I know in time you will see

Although my tail, its last has waved

From pain and suffering I've been saved,

Do not grieve if it should be you,

Who has to decide this thing to do,

We've been so close, over the years,

Don't let your hear hold any tears.
