Sleeping after a long day on the computer, oh the work you had to do:)
In loving memory of our Trigger who we love so much. Trigger will be greatly missed and be in our hearts forever.
My sweet baby girl, I am still doubled over in pain from losing you and I don't know how far I will get in your memorial but I do want you to know how very much you are loved!!! So I will try to start at the begnning and get as far as I can right now and continue as I can.
So, we met in the SPCA shortly after I had lost my Iguana Neebler (my little exotic pet). My best friend (still to this day) had a surprise for me she took me to the shelter under the guise that she was thinking of getting another dog. I was pretty pathetic, broken foot, couldn't work and my parents were keeping me afloat in college paying my bills etc. I was a sad, sad case. As we went looking through the shelter she asked if I wanted to look at the cats and I said sure...in my mind I had already decided my next animal would definitely be a cat and was truly hoping for one that looked like "Church" from Pet Semetary...weird I know especially since that cat ends up eating people in the end but the look, soft grey dense fur and beautiful eyes. My family had all black cats growing up and I wanted something a little different. Ok, so it wasn't your look that won me over it was those beautiful green eyes, soft round velvet paws that reached out as I went by your cage again and again and that beyond soulful heart I saw in you. We went around a few times and then Leslie said "Do you want a kitty?" she was planning all along to get me a critter to help ease my current pathetic state:) I was thrilled as it was exactly what I needed and you need to remember Leslie joked when you didn't cooperate with her and give her enough attention she use to say "hey, I brought you into this world I can take you out:)" She loves and misses you now too! Too much to say right now, so I will pause (paws) and continue our journey together in a bit, back soon my baby girl!
