In loving memory of our Machita who we love so much. Machita will be greatly missed and be in our hearts forever.

Machita came to me with her brother Flapper at age three months old, they were such a hand full. Machita was named by my step mother and dad, her name means macho woman.  Machita was always beating up her brother at three months old, he never fought back.

Today this morning at 10:30am I gave my mama girl Machita her angels wings and told her brother Flapper to meet her at the rainbow bridge.  Machita made it to the age of 15 but for two weeks I noticed a steady decline in her health and for the past two days she quit eatting and drinking water, this morning she was shaking then panting and wondering the house, so I knew in my heart the other shoe was going to drop in a few hours.

She was given a sedative to relax her cause she seemed so jumpy, she had to be carried from the car to inside, the sedative worked quickly, she went to her knees and I picked her up and placed her on the table, I stroked her head, her body and felt her relax, I kissed her and she licked me with a very weak tongue.  Then the doctor came in and gave her the final angle wing dose, and I held her kissed her and said go be with brother he is waiting for you at the rainbow bridge, she was gone from my life, forever and she has left paw prints deep inside my heart.
